Apple’s decision to leave a notch (sort of indentation above the screen) on iPhone X has a reason that can be understood. In addition to the place terpokolnya front camera and a number of important sensors, the presence of this design certainly will not make this smartphone look more unique.
Apple’s move seems to have inspired many smart phone vendors based on Android OS to follow. With a notch at the top of the screen, Android smartphone producers still leave a very thin bezel at the bottom. One of the Android OS-based smartphone manufacturers who will now also use the same design is Asus.
A mobile phone rendering revealed in cyberspace shows a phone that allegedly is Asus ZenFone 5 which comes with a notch located right at the top of the screen. At the rear seen a dual camera side by side also with fingerprint scanner sensor. Asus ZenFone 5 also supports USB Type-C connection, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
Unfortunately until now there has been no further information related to the key specifications of Asus ZenFone 5. As is the previous practice, the ZenFone “family” is likely to be launched in the 2018 MWC event which is likely to consist of more than three device variants.
